Jerry Stoffer Dead
Jeremiah Stoffer, aged 70 years, died early last Thursday morning at his home in the Turkey Run neighborhood, in Pebble township. Jerry Stoffer was born in slavery, but came to this county when a boy, shortly after the Civil war. A son, Walter, died while in the service of the World War at Little Rock, Arkansas. The funeral was held at the home Sunday, interment in the Eden cemetery.
